Collect Experiences, Not Things

You can keep them forever, and no need for storage :-)

Travel Around With Kris

Few things stay with you your entire life, but experiences do.  The best thing about this is that you don’t need a storage locker to keep them. They don’t need dusting. You can’t lose them in a fire or to a thief, they are part of you and they can change who you are.

Travel broadens your mind and gives you endless memories. More unique experiences are more likely to stay with you.  Your first zip-line experience is more memorable than the tenth.  Your brain looks for new things, so feed it with either learning new things (like a language, or musical instrument) or finding new experiences to explore. Anything new is fun for your brain.

A frequent traveler, I’m always on the search for unusual, educational, or otherwise interesting things to do while I’m away. What foods should I try?  What cultural experiences are available?  What books or movies can give me a good idea of what the country is like? A concert, a class about food, or a visit to a museum – it’s all brain food.

I’ll put things here about all of that as well as related topics. How to travel as a solo woman.  How to travel with your family or friends.  How to pack. How to stay safe.
